Moray Firth Spaniel & Retriever Club
Welcome to the Moray Firth Spaniel & Retriever
Club web site. The club was established in 1988 with
the aim of improving gundog standards and attracting people
into the sport. Over the years the club has grown into one of
Scotland's premier gundog clubs, we run retriever and spaniel
trials and tests annually. Being affiliated to the Kennel Club
of Great Britain, all club events are run in conjunction with
their rules and regulations.
The club holds a large membership who come from all over the
UK and this year the club will organise 4 trials, both novice
and open standard, for retrievers and spaniels.
As everybody involved in field sports is aware, there is
constant pressure being applied from external sources to
restrict our sport. It is the aims of the Moray Firth Spaniel
& Retriever Club to attract new members, both male and female,
young and old, into field sports and help ensure that the club
and the sport remain for the enjoyment of future generations.
